Funded Projects

Since 2012, the Hellenic Rescue Team (HRT) has been actively involved in national and European research and innovation programs, aiming to strengthen its operational effectiveness and promote technological advancements in rescue and emergency response.

Collaborating with more than 200 partners — including research institutes, universities, companies, NGOs, local authorities, and local stakeholders — HRT participates as a consortium partner in EU-funded projects (Horizon Europe, H2020, CERV, FP7, Erasmus+, INTERREG).

  • Defining user requirements
  • Designing and implementing use case scenarios
  • Supporting the testing and validation of technologies through tabletop and full-scale pilot exercises
  • Contributing to communication and dissemination activities
  • Participating in national and international conferences,
  • Organizing public engagement events and awareness-raising activities such as workshops, seminars, conferences, and webinars,
  • Promoting disaster preparedness and innovative solutions to the public.
