Search and rescue mission at Psiloritis The HRT Heraklion Annex participated In search and rescue operation for two missing persons in the area of ??Psiloritis. The climber couple lost the E4 trail E4 and hadn’t return before sunset. The mobilization of the Heraklion’s 3rd EMAK was immediate, sending four persons, who cooperated with the Administration of the local Fire Department and a four-membered vehicle of the Hellenic Rescue Team Heraklion, while another vehicle was ready to assist, if needed. The climbers were spotted by the EMAK echelon at the altitude of 1.800m at 01:00 am Sunday. The climbers were in good health state and were taken safely back to their vehicles.
