SEE - A new project to boost volunteering in emergency situations

The Hellenic Rescue Team is now part of a new initiative called SEE that aims to boost unofficial volunteers.

The SEE project is a CERV Citizens’ engagement and participation project aiming to strengthen social cohesion by empowering spontaneous shows of solidarity (so called “informal volunteering”) during emergency situations, encouraging solidarity and citizen participation. The project seeks cooperation between formal and informal volunteers to overcome operational and social challenges and improve civil protection operations.

The project involves 11 partners from 8 European countries, led by SAMARITAN INTERNATIONAL EV.
