Today at 13:58 the Hellenic Rescue team has been informed about a climber’s fall at Skolio slope of mountain Olympus. The authorities were informed immediately and two groups of ΗRT from Kozani and Thessaloniki have responded immediately and they are moving to the scene.

The 40-year-old man fell from the rock while he was doing rock climbing with his friends at one of the hardest and most demanding places in Greece.

Twelve members from HRT are on their way to reach the scene of the accident. At the same time the managers and operators of Kakkalos Refuge and  Apostolidis Refuge went to his aid. Also the Katerini Fire Department has been asked to assist.
