In December 2017<\/strong>, we received the Mother Teresa<\/a><\/strong> Award from the Harmony Institution of India, recognizing our volunteers\u2019 heroic actions and extraordinary efforts to save lives at sea.<\/p>

Throughout its history, HRT and its volunteers <\/strong>have received numerous honorary <\/strong>awards for their dedication and self-sacrifice. HRT has been certified by the General Secretariat for Civil Protection <\/strong>since 2001. We are the only Greek organization that is a member of: ICAR <\/a>(International Commission for Alpine Rescue)<\/strong>, IMRF <\/a>(International Maritime Rescue Federation)<\/strong>, IRO <\/a>(International Search and Rescue Dog Organization)<\/strong> <\/p>
